About the Rink
Big Mine Ice Arena is a seasonal outdoor covered rink in downtown Crested Butte, Colorado. The town-owned natural ice surface is adjacent to the Crested Butte Nordic Center at 620 2nd St.
Public Skating
- Public skating: Open skate times scheduled by the town; rink use is free with your own skates
- Public skating hours: Schedule varies daily; call the rink hotline for current sessions
- Skate rental: Adult $25 / child $15 through Crested Butte Nordic at the warming house
- Season: Typically December through March
