About the Rink

The Sculpture Garden Ice Rink is a seasonal outdoor rink on the National Mall in Washington, DC, between 7th and 9th Streets along Constitution Avenue NW. Skaters circle the National Gallery of Art sculpture collection.

Public Skating

• Public skating: Sessions begin on the hour and run in 45-minute blocks with ice maintenance breaks
• Public skating hours: Sun–Thu 11:00 a.m.–9:00 p.m.; Fri–Sat 11:00 a.m.–11:00 p.m.
• Admission: $15 ages 13+ / $12 ages 12 and under, seniors 60+, military, and students with ID; fee covers two back-to-back 45-minute sessions
• Skate rental: $7
• Season: November 24 through March 1, weather permitting

Plan Your Visit

• Transit: Near Archives-Navy Memorial and Smithsonian Metro stations
• Amenities: Free lockers available first come, first served
• Reservations: Individual passes sold in person at the rink
