About the Rink
The Wharf Ice Rink is a seasonal outdoor rink on Transit Pier at The Wharf in southwest Washington, DC. Skaters glide on the waterfront with views of the Washington Channel.
Public Skating
- Public skating: Offered November through February during the operating season
- Admission: $20 adults / $15 youth 12 and under / $17 seniors, military, and first responders with ID
- Skate rental: Free
- Season: Roughly November through February

- Transit: Near Waterfront Metro station; Water Taxi access on Transit Pier
- Payment: Cashless facility
- Reservations: First come, first served; no advance reservations for public skating
- Important rule: Paid admission is valid all day while wearing your wristband
