About the Rink

Fort Dupont Ice Arena is an indoor NHL-size rink on Ely Place SE in Washington, DC, operated by the DC Department of Parks and Recreation. The renovated facility reopened as the city's public ice skating center.

Public Skating

• Public skating: Open skate sessions offered on scheduled weekday and Saturday blocks
• Public skating hours: Mon–Fri 3:30–5:30 p.m. and 6:00–8:00 p.m.; Sat 10:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. in three sessions
• Admission: DC residents $8–$14 / non-residents $11–$24 by age; includes skate rental
• Reservations: Required for open skate sessions
• Season: Open year-round
