About the Rink

Capital Ice Complex is an indoor twin-rink facility on Wichita Drive in Bismarck, North Dakota, with Schaumberg Arena and Wachter Arena under one roof. Bismarck Parks and Recreation schedules public skating on both sheets.

Public Skating

• Public skating: Drop-in sessions offered on scheduled Saturdays and Sundays
• Public skating hours: Typical weekend sessions run 3:00–5:00 p.m. or 6:00–8:00 p.m.; check the Capital Ice Complex calendar before visiting
• Admission: $5 per person or $10 per family on Saturdays and Sundays; free on Tuesdays and Thursdays at VFW H.A. Thompson & Sons Arena midday sessions
• Skate rental: $5
• Season: Scheduled year-round with seasonal variations
