About the Rink

Central Park Ice Skate Loop is a refrigerated 810-foot outdoor skating trail at Maple Grove’s Central Park. The loop is one of the metro’s distinctive winter skating paths.

Public Skating

• Public skating: Daily public skating on the loop when open
• Public skating hours: Loop open 10 a.m.–9 p.m. daily, weather permitting
• Skate rental: $8.50 per pair during posted rental hours
• Season: Winter only; typically closes in early March

Plan Your Visit

• Parking: Central Park lot at 12000 Central Park Way
• Amenities: Phenow Pavilion warming house, winter snack bar, skate sharpening
• Important rule: No hockey sticks or pucks on the leisure loop
