About the Rink

CWRU Ice Rink on Van Horn Field is a temporary outdoor rink set up on Van Horn Field at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland. It is a campus recreation surface, not a year-round public skating center.

Public Skating

• Public skating: Offered when the university installs and opens the seasonal campus rink
• Public skating hours: Weather dependent and limited to CWRU students, faculty, and approved campus members when operating
• Skate rental: Not provided; bring your own skates
• Season: Winter only when conditions allow

• Location: 2158 Adelbert Rd beside the Veale Center
• Parking: University campus parking rules apply
• Important rule: Open recreation skating only; no spectators or guests when campus rink rules are in effect
