About the Rink
Kent State Ice Arena is an indoor, year-round rink on the Kent State University campus. The facility offers public skating sessions alongside varsity and club ice sports.
Public Skating
- Public skating: Public skating offered on select dates throughout the year
- Admission: $14 general / $12 KSU students, faculty, staff, seniors, veterans, and active military / $8 ages 5 and under
- Skate rental: Included with admission
- Public skating hours: Sessions vary by day. Check the Rec Well public skating calendar before visiting.
- Payment: Credit and debit cards only; no cash
- Season: Open year-round
Plan Your Visit
- Parking: Free arena lot after 6:00 p.m. Fridays and all day weekends
- Reservations: Admission sales begin 30 minutes before each session
