About the Rink
Lake of the Isles Skating Rink is a free outdoor rink in Minneapolis on Lake of the Isles Parkway. The Minneapolis Park Board maintains general skating and hockey areas with a warming room nearby.
Public Skating
- Public skating: Free community skating when the rink is open
- Public skating hours: Rink lights run roughly 4:30–9 p.m. daily when open; warming room hours vary by day
- Admission: Free
- Skate rental: Free loaner skates on a first-come, first-served basis at warming rooms
- Season: Mid-December through mid-February, weather permitting
