About the Rink

McCormick Tribune Plaza hosts Millennium Park's seasonal outdoor ice rink on Michigan Avenue in downtown Chicago. The rink sits beside Cloud Gate with views of the Loop skyline.

Public Skating

• Public skating: Offered during the winter rink season, weather permitting
• Public skating hours: 90-minute sessions from late morning through evening. Check the current schedule before visiting.
• Admission: Free with own skates on select sessions; online registration required
• Skate rental: $17 weekdays / $21 weekends and holidays
• Season: Roughly late November through early February
