About the Rink

Newport Skates is a seasonal outdoor rink on the Jersey City waterfront at River Drive South. Skaters get Manhattan skyline views from this winter-only destination in the Newport neighborhood.

• Public skating: Offered daily during the winter season
• Public skating hours: Mon–Thu 4–9 p.m.; Fri 4–10 p.m.; Sat 11 a.m.–10 p.m.; Sun 11 a.m.–7 p.m.
• Admission: $13
• Skate rental: $7
• Reservations: Tickets must be purchased online before visiting
• Season: Roughly November through March
