About the Rink

Rady Children's Ice Rink is a seasonal outdoor rink in San Diego's ARTS DISTRICT Liberty Station on Legacy Plaza. Proceeds support the Thriving After Cancer Program at Rady Children's Hospital.

Public Skating

• Public skating: Offered daily during the winter season when the rink is open
• Public skating hours: Typically 10:00 a.m.–10:00 p.m. in three daily sessions; holiday hours vary
• Admission: $25 adult / $15 child (12 and under) / $15 military / $15 groups of 20+
• Skate rental: Included with admission; helmets included
• Reservations: Online tickets available; online check-in still required at the skate trailer
• Season: Roughly late November through early January; closed between seasons

• Location: Legacy Plaza near 2875 Dewey Road, between Dewey and Roosevelt Roads
• Transit: Near The Lot and Historic Decatur Road in Liberty Station
• Amenities: Restrooms and hand-washing station near the rink; storage bins $5
• Important rule: All participants must sign a waiver each season; children under 6 must skate with a skating adult

Weekends can be very crowded with long wait times; weekday sessions are usually quieter.
