About the Rink
The Rink at Rockefeller Center is a seasonal outdoor rink in Midtown Manhattan beneath the Rockefeller Center Christmas tree. It is one of New York City's best-known winter skating destinations.
Public Skating
- Public skating: Offered during the winter season; the 2025-2026 season has ended
- Public skating hours: Typically daily from 9 a.m. to midnight during the season; check back for fall opening dates
- Admission: From about $22 for general admission; prices vary by date and time
- Skate rental: $12
- Reservations: Timed tickets required for all guests; buy online in advance
- Season: Roughly mid-October through March

- Location: Entrance on 49th Street at rink level between 5th and 6th Avenues
- Session length: General admission sessions are 60 minutes from scheduled entry
