About the Rink

The Westfield Rink is a seasonal outdoor NHL-regulation rink at Gumbert Park in Westfield, New Jersey. The community rink has operated since 2018 and opens each winter from late October through early March.

Public Skating

• Public skating: Public sessions offered on scheduled days during the season
• Public skating hours: Thu 5:10–6:40 p.m., Fri 7:30–9 p.m., Sat 2:15–3:45 & 7:30–9 p.m., Sun 2:30–4 p.m.
• Season: Late October through early March
• Reservations: All skaters must pre-register online before attending

• Parking: Parking near Gumbert Park on North Avenue across from the Garwood ShopRite
• Amenities: Hockey and figure skate rentals; food trucks on weekends
• Important rule: Pre-registration through the Bond Sports portal is required for all public sessions
