About the Rink

Broadway Square Skating Rink is the SCHEELS outdoor rink at Broadway Square in downtown Fargo. The Fargo Park District maintains it as a free seasonal public skating destination.

Public Skating

• Public skating: Free open skating when the rink is open
• Public skating hours: Skate Shack open Mon–Fri 4–8 p.m. and Sat–Sun 12–8 p.m.; rink open after morning maintenance until 8 p.m.
• Skate rental: $5 at the Skate Shack
• Season: Roughly late November through March, weather permitting

Plan Your Visit

• Parking: Downtown Fargo parking near 201 Broadway North
• Amenities: Concessions, restrooms, and skate rentals at the Skate Shack
• Important rule: No hockey sticks, pucks, or pets on the ice
