About the Rink

The seasonal ice skating rink at Eugene T. Mahoney State Park sits in a covered pavilion connected to the Activity Center near Ashland, Nebraska. The rink uses a synthetic ice surface that extends the skating season regardless of outdoor temperatures.

Public Skating

• Public skating: Offered during Activity Center operating hours when the rink is open
• Admission: $3 adults / $5 children; Activity Center admission includes rink access
• Skate rental: $5
• Season: Roughly mid-November through mid-April

• Parking: On-site parking at Mahoney State Park; a valid Nebraska state park entry permit is required
