About the Rink
UNMC Ice Rink is a seasonal outdoor rink on the University of Nebraska Medical Center campus at 4016 Emile St in Omaha. The covered rink sits north of the Sorrell Center for Health Science Education.
Public Skating
- Public skating: Open to the public during the winter skating season
- Public skating hours: Mon & Thu 11 a.m.–1 & 4–8 p.m.; Tue & Wed 11 a.m.–1 p.m.; Fri & Sat 11 a.m.–10 p.m.; Sun 11 a.m.–8 p.m.
- Admission: $5 general public; includes skate rental
- Skate rental: Included with admission
- Season: Roughly December through February; closed between seasons

- Parking: Free parking in Lot 6 garage at 41st St and Dewey Ave
- Payment: Cash or credit cards only
- Important rule: Complete the waiver before paying; rink closes at 0°F air temperature
