About the Rink

Ice Skating at the U.S. National Whitewater Center uses the same 24,000 sq ft outdoor pond rink at 5000 Whitewater Center Pkwy in Charlotte, North Carolina. Skaters use ice trails and open skate zones.

Public Skating

• Public skating: Offered daily during the winter season when the ice center is open
• Public skating hours: Day and evening sessions mid-November through mid-February. Check the activity schedule before visiting.
• Admission: $25 single-activity pass (includes skate rental)
• Skate rental: Included with ice skating pass
• Season: Roughly mid-November through mid-February

Plan Your Visit

• Parking: Daily parking fee $13 per vehicle at the Whitewater Center
• Amenities: On-ice Airstream serving hot and cold beverages
• Important rule: Socks are required and must be brought by the guest
